I build frontend platforms for security products used by millions of people. For 8+ years at Gen Digital (Norton, Avast, AVG), I led frontend development across five products, VPN Extension, AntiTrack, Private Email, Privacy Scan, and Privacy Monitor, supporting 2.5M+ monthly users and ~$25M in quarterly revenue. What sets me apart is that I bring a designer’s eye into engineering. My background started in film and visual storytelling (B.A. Digital Video & Film Production), and that lens still shapes how I build interfaces today. I work closely with designers as a true collaborator refining motion, challenging interactions that feel off, and sweating the details that separate “shipped” from “feels right.” I care deeply about animation, micro-interactions, and the subtle craft users may not consciously notice but absolutely feel. Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie, CSS transitions whatever best fits the moment. A few things I’m proud of: - Built the Norton VPN browser extension UI from the ground up (108 TypeScript modules, 76 locales) - Shipped Norton UI-Kit, an Angular component library adopted as the standard across 5+ product teams - Led white-labeling of AntiTrack across 3 brands and 71 languages - Migrated ~2M users to a modern, scalable, white-labeled frontend architecture Where I go deep: - Design systems and shared UI platforms - Cross-browser extensions (Manifest V3) - Frontend performance and bundle optimization - AI-augmented development — Claude Code, custom multi-agent orchestration, MCP servers - Engineering quality bar — rigorous code review, accessibility (508/WCAG)
