About

Hi! I'm Dr. Claire - a behavioral scientist, speaker, and strategist transforming the Workers’ Compensation industry and the leadership space through empathy, innovation, and evidence-based communication. I built my career around challenging outdated norms, crafting solutions that matter, and creating meaningful, measurable change. I am the founder of DCM, a consulting firm with three core pillars: Workers’ Compensation transformation, Leadership development, and Women’s empowerment. At DCM, we blend behavioral science, empathy, and business strategy to help organizations simplify compliance, strengthen culture, and develop emotionally intelligent, values-driven leaders. Our women’s leadership work focuses on helping women own their presence, lead unapologetically, and expand their influence with clarity and confidence, at every stage of their careers. Whether I am redesigning claims strategies, facilitating executive workshops, or delivering keynote experiences that ignite action, my approach is anything but generic. Every engagement is crafted with intention, using behavioral insights to meet the specific needs of the audience. My work is known for sparking connection, elevating strategy, and creating lasting impact - - with a whole lot of energy! I serve as Co-Director of the Master of Science in Leadership Program in the School of Education and Professor of Practice in the Zimpleman College of Business at Drake University. I mentor emerging and established leaders using a blend of neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and real-world application. I proudly serve on boards including CLM’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Board, Rising Insurance Star Executives, and the Global Insurance Accelerator. My insights have been featured in IRMI, WorkCompCollege, WorkersCompensation.com, and BLOOM, where I advocate for forward-thinking, heart-centered approaches to leadership and claims. I also create content that makes Workers’ Compensation, leadership, and personal growth more accessible.
