More than 25 years expericence in Civil and Environmental Engineering, sustainable contaminated land remediation and Brownfield Redevelopment, Consultant for hydraulical and geotechnical Engineering. I am focussing on the exploration, evaluation, remediation and redevelopment of complex sites. Working with national and international project teams, I have got a wide experience in combining established and innovative methods and strategies to optimise project success, risk assessment, health and safety instructions and life cycle assessment (LCA). Specialties: Soil and Groundwater Remediation: Design, application and optimisation of in-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater remediation like e.g. in-situ thermal treatment and remediation (ISTT, ISTR) by thermal conductive heating (TCH, THERIS method) and / or steam enhanced extraction (SEE, steam air injection, TUBA method), multiphase extraction (MPE), pump and treat, soil vapor extraction, air sparging. Sustainable Treatment Trains: Design, application and optimisation of soil and groundwater remediation systems (spartial and / or temporal combination of several remediation methods).
