I work at the intersection of strategy, execution, technology, and human capacity under pressure. For more than three decades, I have helped leaders and organizations navigate growth, transformation, and complexity. Over the last15 years, I have researched, taught, advised, and spoken about transformative megatrends and their impact on organizations, leadership, and society, with a particular focus on the strategic implications of artificial intelligence. What has consistently interested me is not strategy on paper, but whether execution actually holds when conditions are imperfect. Organizations rarely fail because they lack ideas. Nor do they usually fail because of bad strategies. They fail because translating ideas into sustained action is far harder than it looks. Over the course of my career, I have built and scaled organizations, designed executive education programs, advised senior leadership teams, and worked with organizations ranging from startups to publicly listed companies. My leadership roles have included Executive Vice President of EBS University, Vice Dean of Education at European Business School, Professor of Leadership and Strategy and Director of Executive Education at the University of Liverpool, and Managing Director of Goethe Business School. Today, I serve as Academic Director of the NYU-SPS & Intellibus AI Masterclass, a program designed for board members, C-level executives, and public-sector leaders. I lead the design and continuous development of the program and work closely with participants, speakers, and faculty to explore the practical implications of AI for leadership, organizations, and society. I am also the founder of UNLEASHED, an intensive program focused on goal achievement and execution as a trained discipline rather than a matter of motivation. The work combines science, structured practice, and real-world application. I have lived and worked across Europe, Asia, and the United States and bring a global perspective to leadership, strategy, organizational transformation, and performance. Outside of work, I recharge through TaeKwonDo, long swims in the ocean, mountain hikes, reading by the fireplace, and unhurried conversations with family and close friends over a good bottle of Barolo or Pouilly-Fumé.
