As a member of the group for translational neurology, I conducted preclinical studies to provide new insights into Parkinson's Disease and the therapeutic mechanisms of deep brain stimulation. In cooperation with a biotech company, we developed a deep brain stimulation system for rodents to further advance reverse translational research. In addition, I developed a deep learning-based gait analysis for mice to evaluate motor impairments. Working within the "Collaborative Research Centre TRR 295 ReTune" sharpened my ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. In addition, I organized scientific events and supervised doctoral candidates.
