I work with adults navigating the long-term impact of dysfunctional family environments, supporting them in building healthier relationships with themselves and others. My practice is grounded in relational psychotherapy, with an integration of somatic work and a strong attachment lens. I am particularly interested in how early relational experiences shape emotional patterns, coping, and connection in adulthood. I am a Counselling Psychologist and Medical & Psychiatric Social Worker, and the Founder of Being Balanced,a space focused on therapy, training, and community-based mental health support. Beyond individual work, I actively engage in: -Supervision and training for early-career therapists, with a focus on building clinical depth, ethical practice, and real-world readiness -Support groups for individuals working through dysfunctional family dynamics and related emotional challenges -Gatekeeper training, including QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer), to strengthen suicide prevention awareness and response My doctoral work at IIT Madras focused on coping and resilience in preadolescents, and I continue to carry a strong interest in psychosocial development, resilience, and lived contexts of mental health. At the core of my work is a simple belief: when people are offered the right relational space, meaningful and sustainable change becomes possible.
