With over three decades of comprehensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Exploration production sector, particularly in prospect generation and concession evaluation both offshore and onshore, I have established myself as a dedicated and motivated Exploration Geoscientist. Since 2007, I have held pivotal roles in this field, leveraging my expertise to achieve significant success. A substantial portion of my career, spanning more than 15 years, has been devoted to pioneering advancements in hydro-geophysics, notably in Potential Field exploration. My expertise revolves around the application of various geophysical methodologies, including georesistivity, electromagnetic, and seismic refraction/reflection, to proficiently characterize near-surface environments. This has proven invaluable in diverse applications such as groundwater management in urban areas, conservation efforts at archaeological sites, and enhancing agricultural practices. Additionally, I have specialized in Ground Penetration Radar and electromagnetic methods to mitigate hazards during reconnaissance missions for both military and oil exploration endeavors. My academic journey culminated in the attainment of a Doctoral degree from Berne University, Switzerland, specializing in engineering geology and geophysics, complemented by a master's degree in environmental Geophysics. Notably, my research findings have been disseminated through international publications. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed international organizations from the USA, the UK and Italy, as well as governmental regulatory bodies. This exposure has broadened my perspective and honed my skills in leadership, business development, management, talent acquisition, further empowering me to make strategic decisions and foster organizational growth. I am evaluating the relinquished concessions from G&G point of view by making seismic re-interpretation in order to see more opportunities for new development wells parallel with reservoir studies team.
Oversee seismic processing programs and parameter selection to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery. Evaluate contractor prequalification and technical proposals for seismic projects. Monitor seismic acquisition and processing activities and ensure data quality control. Supervise borehole geophysics operations including sonic, VSP, and check-shot surveys. Manage geosciences databases and seismic/well data integration workflows. Support contract execution and ensure compliance with technical and commercial terms. Mentor geosciences teams in evaluating Mediterranean exploration acreage.
