Dr. Stephanie West Founder, Owner, and Educational Consultant – HelpULearn.org Dr. Stephanie West is the founder and owner of HelpULearn.org, an educational consulting and resource hub dedicated to helping educators, students, and institutions make learning clear, accessible, and effective. A Certified Reading Specialist with over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. West has worked across K–12, higher education, adult education, and professional development settings. She currently serves as a college professor in the College of Education, where she prepares future teachers in literacy instruction, assessment, classroom management, and evidence-based teaching practices. Dr. West is deeply grounded in the Science of Reading and specializes in supporting struggling readers through structured, research-aligned instruction. Her work bridges theory and practice—helping educators understand what to teach, why it matters, and how to implement it successfully in real classrooms. She has extensive experience designing curriculum, intervention programs, assessments, and professional learning experiences that are practical, teacher-friendly, and immediately usable. In addition to her work in literacy, Dr. West is a national presenter and educational consultant, supporting schools and organizations with topics such as reading intervention, trauma-informed classroom management, student engagement, instructional clarity, and responsible integration of AI in education. She is also a published author and researcher, with multiple articles, books, and academic contributions focused on literacy, mindfulness, and effective teaching practices. Through HelpULearn.org, Dr. West brings together decades of classroom experience, research expertise, and a passion for mentoring educators. Her mission is simple: to help learners learn—and help teachers feel confident, supported, and successful in the process.
