• Chemist, Ph.D. in biochemistry, MBA and PMP (Project Management Professional) with 18 years pharma management experience • Turning projects into products: - Managing development, cost efficiency, 3rd party supply and BD&L projects as well as IT projects for the implementation of project and portfolio management tools - Leading the projects from initiation, strategic alignment and business planning up to production and 1st wave launch / implementation with full accountability for scope, budget and timeline • Heading a PMO with an annual development budget of ~ €140m and head of project management leading four PMs • Supervising cross-functional global project teams comprising R&D, technical operations, supply chain, marketing, BD&L, etc. • Developing, refining and implementing innovation processes and methodologies for project and portfolio management within life science industry • Managing external partners (identification, contacting, negotiation and execution) for device development, API synthesis and clinical development incl. alliance management • Supporting strategic planning and sophisticated decision making by increasing transparency on the development pipeline and achieving a sustainable increase of the overall pipeline value • Consulting for corporate finance with focus on pharma, biotech and chemical industry • Open minded with an optimistic, pragmatic and decisive personality
