His ongoing research is broadly classified into the following domains: Modelling of Metallurgical Processes, Atomistic Modelling of Materials and Material Informatics. He has published more than one hundred and twenty four (124) high-impact research articles in internationally reputed SCI indexed journals. He has supervised eleven (11) doctoral (Ph.D.) theses , seventeen (17) master (M. Tech) theses and twenty (20) undergraduate (B. Tech) theses. He is an investigator of five (5) sponsored research projects and three (3) industrial projects. He is author of three (3) books and editor of one (1) book . He has active research collaborations with esteemed universities across the globe (such as the University of Florida (USA), the University of Manitoba (Canada), Université Lille (France), National University of Signapore and the National Academy of Science of Belarus).
