Proactive and energetic managing director with 28 years of career mainly on business for electric drive system and control unit of EV(electric vehicle) and powertrain of internal combustion engine(ICE) vehicle as well. Contributed for Schaeffler(since Jan, 2025), Vitesco Technologies (since Dec, 2022) and Ssangyong Motor Company(SYMC, since Jan, 1997). Currently in Schaeffler group, as a head of business division, I am leading business development in the field of electric drive systems, mechatronics, and modules for major OEMs in Asia-Pacific region driving the next-generation electric vehicle business. Latest achievement was focused on electric drive system business and project execution for HMG’s strategic electric vehicle EV3 as a head of business unit in Vitesco Technologies Korea. Previous career is focused on CO2 reduction system development to meet CAFÉ(corporate average fuel economy) regulation in order to minimize or avoid CO2 penalty as a head of EV development division of SYMC. Completed to develop emission control system for ICE vehicles to meet EURO 6 emission regulation including homologation. Acquired globally proven high level of qualification(international professional engineer, Ph.D. in engineering) and keep best and long-term relationships with industrial and academic perspective in engineering field and governmental agencies. Always trying to find the smartest way to use energy.
