After completing my studies in chemistry at the University of Mainz, I pursued my doctoral research at the organic materials laboratory of the Opel International Technical Development Center in Ruesselsheim. My research focused extensively on various aspects of polymer stabilization, encompassing quantitative additive analysis via Pyrolysis-GC/MS and lifetime prediction. Following this research phase, I transitioned to Lanxess High Performance Materials in Dormagen. In my role as the leader of a laboratory team, I took on the responsibility of developing Pocan and Durethan products, providing expert support to multiple departments ranging from application development to sales and marketing. Furthermore, I assumed the position of Head of the Analytical Testing Center, overseeing our global development laboratory. This encompassed managing safety protocols, our data management system, ensuring audit compliance, and handling pandemic management. In late 2020, I joined Budenheim as the global technical sales manager for the polymers segment, focusing on advancing sustainable solutions. My role involves introducing innovative, eco-friendly advancements to the market, guiding customers in identifying optimal and sustainable solutions. I strive to bridge the gap between the market and our innovation and application development, offering technical expertise in thermoplastic polymers, flame retardancy, automotive applications, and more, with a people-centric mindset to deliver the best possible sustainable value for both our customers and our team. 🌿💡
