Dr. T Y Satheesha is presently working as a Head of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at SOET Main Campus, CMR University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He has received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University VTU, Belgaum, Karnataka, India. He has received a Doctoral degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University JNTU Anantapur, Andrapradesh, India. In addition, he has secured an honorary degree of D.Tech Specializing in Signal Processing from California-Public-University, at Northern Mariana Islands in the USA. His current research interest is Biomedical Image Processing. In the reorganization of Consistent Superior performance in the area of SIGNAL PROCESSING and upon the recommendations of the committee on IMRF Academic executive Council acknowledge he has been duly conferred as Distinguished Fellowship IMRF Member of the International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation and is pleased to present this Fellow Status on the eve of IMRF academic Excellence Awards Conferring Ceremony. In addition, he had been honored with the Fellowship award from The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers - IETE (SIRO Recognized by DSIR, Govt. of India). As of now under his guidance as a supervisor 3 doctorates and as a co-supervisor 4 doctorates awarded. He Possesses over decades of teaching experience and is a member of various professional bodies. He is an editorial member and reviewer for few journals. In addition, he was the chair for many conferences. He has bagged 10 best paper awards, 10 other professional awards, 40 patents filed, 35 patents published, 10 patents granted, 35 conferences, 35 Journals published, and a grant from KSCST. He has published books, also published in a book chapters. He has completed nearly 10 short term courses and attended nearly 30 workshops. Also, he has delivered and organized many Invited talks/ seminars/ workshops. Also he has done more than 10 MoUs in associated with CMR University. He has Received RAISE - Research, Arts & Applications, Innovation & Intelligence, Science & Technology, Entrepreneurship Innovation Grant of 6000$. In collaboration with UNIFACVEST University Center empaneled towards collaborative R&D with MIT - Management and Innovation for Transformation.
