Set Up R&D Center and Tire Simulation Department In Apollo Tyres. 4 years experience in JK Tyres R&D ( HASETRI) in Compound & Raw Material and Process Technology. 3 years experience in Phillips Carbon Black Ltd. where I was responsible R&D, Customer Service and New Product Development. 5 Years worked in Kesoram Industries Ltd. (KIL) as Chief Technology Officer (Tyre Division) and responsible for whole Technology and R&D function. Presently, working with Birla Tyres Limited (KIL owned company) as CTO with same responsibility. Set up a new R&D Center and Tyre Design & Simulation department in Birla Tyres and developed Premium Truck Bus Bias Tyres , Truck Bus Radial Tyres with new Technology and New 2&3 wheeler product basket.

I am responsible for the whole Technological and R&D functioning of the company such as Technology Road map, Product Strategy, Product out Sourcing and Projects. R&D Set up, Tyre Design, Product Development, Materials and Compound, Simulation, Product Testing, Process Technology are key functions. Truck Bus Bias (TBB), OTR & Farm, 2/3 Wheeler and Truck Bus and Passenger Car Radial Tyres development and up-gradation are major focus.
Head R&D: Responsible for Compound and Material Development for New Product Development of Commercial Vehicle tyres for Domestic and International Market. Leading the team from Indian and European R&D Centre for Truck Bus Radial, OTR & Agricultural Tyre compound development for European and Asian market. Construction of greenfield R&D centre in Chennai. Headed the Advanced Tyre Design Centre for 5 years. Accountable for the designed New Passenger Car and Truck Bus Radial Tyres using FE Simulation for Domestic and International Market. Established an Advance Tyre Research (ATR) Centre along with Tyre Simulation capability by collaborating with German Professors. Accountable for Compound and Material Development for Commercial Vehicle (CV), Passenger Car Radial and Farm Tyres for Replacement and OEMs.
