With over 30 years in Cardiothoracic Surgery, I have dedicated my career to advancing heart and lung care, pioneering Malaysia’s first mechanical heart surgeries, double lung, and heart-lung transplants. Now, as Group CEO of IJN Holdings and CEO of IJN, I am honored to lead an institution known for its world-class cardiac care and innovation. Building on my previous roles within IJN—from Clinical Director to overseeing special and expansion projects—I am committed to elevating IJN’s mission and ensuring accessible, exceptional care for all patients. In this role, I focus on optimizing costs, strategic workforce planning, and commissioning critical medical technologies and facilities to support IJN’s impact on both regional and global stages. I am passionate about healthcare strategy, including business development and operational excellence, to propel IJN forward in service, innovation, and research. As a proctor and key opinion leader in heart and lung devices, I continue to share insights with peers worldwide, having presented over 100 times at local and international forums. It is an exciting time for IJN, and I look forward to working with our talented team to reach new frontiers in cardiac care and achieve even greater heights in patient outcomes and healthcare excellence.
