The main objective of the Green Trust, a non-governmental organization is Science popularization and Conservation of Environment. Dr. N. Margasagayam is having wide experience in this field for the last three decades. His work attracted, Several International, National and Regional projects. He is running a convent in Mashar village as part of the Green Trust. Which includes a model forest and orchard in support of the Trust. He is a regional co-ordinator for National Eco Club and Green Cop. In recognition his service, he receives several state and central awards. In allay with State Environmental Protection Department and Pollution control board, he has run several programmes. Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Department, Chennai, Cupbard, Hyderabad, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, International Tree foundation, London, United Kingdom mention his role in the development in particular field. He has won Green champion Award from the District Collector. It consist of a citation and a Rupees one lakh cash prize. He also got awards from Department of Tamil Nadu Science and Technology, Chennai and Department of Environment, Chennai. He has completed around hundreds of minor projects to his credit. He is a product of Gandhigram Rural University, Gandhigram. He is living in the path of Gandhi and be an example to others. He is a good drawing Artist. He is a Gold medallist in his Masters degree. Basically he is a Zoologist. He did further studies in Social Sciences and stick to it in his profession. The family Agriculture background fuels his Research in the Organic forming area. Through his project he used to train college Professors to School teachers and School Children through Science popularisation and Conservation of Environment. Adultration, use of Nondegradable pestisides, herbisides, preservatives, etc. creates awareness on Organic forming. The Research on Organic forming and Adultration free Groseries is on progress. One way in this is the use of Scientific media. He has received University Research Fellowship during his Ph.D. degree. His Ph.D. Thesis entitled "Studies on Organic forming in Tamil Nadu" brings national attention. During M.Phil. he studied "Organic forming in Pudukkottai District". He is a good Researcher, Educationalist, Environmentalist, Social worker, Leader, Speaker, Writer, etc. Being the second son from a middle class farmer family, with four sons and a daughter, he has to work hard to reach this level. He has two children, living with his family in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.
