About

As Associate Head of School for Health, Science and Education at CU Coventry, I lead academic operations across multiple campuses and outreach centres, driving curriculum innovation, inclusive teaching, and digital transformation. My work focuses on creating future-ready learning environments where students and staff thrive through collaboration, creativity, and evidence-based practice. I am a strong advocate for the ethical and impactful use of AI in higher education. Since 2022, I’ve led pioneering initiatives that integrate AI into assessment design, curriculum development, and teaching delivery. This includes authoring Coventry University’s first AI-generated assessment using an avatar-based video case study, and presenting my work at the Coventry University AI Community of Practice launch, the JISC AI Winter Event, and national conferences. Previously, as Course Leader for Nursing and Allied Health Professions, I led strategic course reviews and cross-campus collaboration to improve academic quality and student experience. I worked closely with academic teams to embed inclusive pedagogy, formative feedback, and authentic assessment practices. I continue to champion enhancement days and community-building initiatives that foster belonging and engagement, particularly for students in flexible and online learning environments. My leadership is grounded in a commitment to accessibility, innovation, and continuous improvement. Let’s connect if you’re passionate about transforming education through digital innovation, inclusive curriculum design, or the future of AI in teaching and learning.
