About

I am a physician–administrator and healthcare executive with 27+ years of CEO-level leadership across 1,000-bed tertiary hospitals, crisis-response facilities, and UN mission healthcare. Currently, I serve as Professor & Head of Department / Senior Advisor (Hospital Administration) at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt, leading strategy-to-execution across operations, quality, risk, performance governance, and academic programs spanning 38 departments. My work sits at the intersection of health system strategy, delivery excellence, and financial stewardship—including management of ~₹100 crore/annum supply chains and digitally enabled procurement and inventory governance. Earlier, I was Contingent Commander/CEO of the UN Level II+ Hospital (UNMISS, South Sudan), responsible for 24×7 clinical governance, workforce planning, readiness KPIs, and mission resource stewardship, while building capability through international training recognized by UNHQ. Across roles, I have led accreditation and compliance (NABH/NABL/NQAS/JCI readiness), digital transformation (HIS/EMR, workflow standardization, barcode/RFID-enabled systems, dashboards, cybersecurity/access controls), and complex, time-bound projects—including rapid commissioning of high-risk isolation capability and large-scale surge readiness. I’m particularly interested in innovative, scalable healthcare models that improve access and affordability, supported by strong governance, partnership ecosystems (government/NGO/academia/CSR), and outcome-focused execution. My approach is simple: right care, at the right place, at the right time—delivered reliably at scale. Vision: To Provide better environment at right place , at right time, to all indl working in my organisation , leading from front.
