Dr. Vandana Loka Prakash (Postdoctoral Researcher) is a dedicated academician and Material Scientist specializing in advanced construction materials and sustainable engineering solutions. He completed his Ph.D. from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), earning a prestigious gold medal for academic excellence, along with high-impact research contributions (impact factor ~9.8). Previously, he worked as a Material Scientist at Bartın University, Türkiye, where he carried out innovative research on self-healing bacterial concrete using different Bacillus bacteria. His research focused on enhancing the durability, sustainability, and performance of modern construction materials. He has published 12 research manuscripts in reputed international journals including Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, and Springer. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor and also, taking responsibility for both Research & Development and academic activities. He actively contributes to Civil Engineering education while advancing research in sustainable materials and modern construction technologies. His work bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world engineering applications. His mission is to advance sustainable construction technologies, promote innovative material research, and mentor future engineers through a strong combination of academic excellence and research-driven practice.
