About

I am an author, researcher, and media scholar with over 10 years of experience analyzing cultural dynamics, societal narratives, and the intersections of Islam and the West. My academic and publishing background—including over seven years working as a contributing author with McFarland & Company and a decade for Cambridge Scholars Publishing—is driven by a passion for critical media analysis. Key highlights of my work: Author: The Muslim World in Post-9/11 American Cinema: A Critical Study, 2001-2011, a critical examination of cultural representation in Hollywood. Contributor: Islam and the West: A Love Story? and various other academic explorations of East-West narratives. Technical Expertise: Adept in film/ TV production, journalism, finance, development, sales and acquisitions and digital media. This, allows me to bridge the gap between academic research and practical media creation.
