Dr. Jitendra Tahalyani (Member, IEEE) is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE) at VIT Chennai. Previously, he worked as a Senior Associate at Lumenci-Gurgaon, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology-Pune, Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at JK Lakshmipat University-Jaipur, and Senior Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. He received his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from The LNM Institute of Information Technology in 2013 and his M.Tech. in Materials Science and Technology from Defence Institute of Advanced Technology in 2016. His research focuses on the design and development of advanced electronic materials, including polymer composites, carbon nanocomposites, flexible electronics, and metamaterials for RF and microwave applications. His areas of interest include electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, radar-absorbing materials, RF sensors, chemi-resistive sensors, supercapacitors, and multifunctional materials for next-generation electronic systems. Dr. Tahalyani is an active member of the IEEE community and currently serves on the TC-8 RF Nanotechnology Technical Committee. He previously served as the Vice-Chair of the IEEE MTT-S Student Branch Chapter at IIT Kanpur from 2019 to 2020. He has authored more than 25 publications in reputed journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters, and has received several awards recognizing his contributions to materials science, nanotechnology, RF engineering, and applied research.
Completed PhD from IIT Kanpur under the supervision of Professor M Jaleel Akhtar and Professor Kamal K Kar. Publishes 25+ research articles in Journal/conference/Book Chapter.
