Head of the complete beer and beverage manufacturing process from the raw materials to the final beer and beverages before filling and shipment. Responsibility for approx. 50 employees. Total sales beverage volume round about 3.7 million hl. Passionate brewing of the main big brands like Bitburger Pilsener, but also of a great range of low sales volume speciality beers (craft beer, IPA, dry hopped specialities, ...) and beverages of all kind (alcohol free beer, shandy, lemonades, mix drinks etc.). Development and implementation of new beer varities and new equipment. Continious improvement of all processes on the modernst level, costs and energy savings on KPI basis. Member of the Crisis Management Group. International co-working with other breweries and technical as well as quality evaluations of international breweries regarding possible license productions. Scientific work in all fields of food and beverage production and supervising of diverse bachelor and master theses.
Head of the complete quality staff (10 employees). Analyses based on microbiological principles, sensory tests and chemical technical principles with modernst lab equipment.
Research work on beer flavor stability. Lecturer about brewing technology in German and English language. Training of international students.
