About

More than 12 years of experience in the safety assessment of components with existing cracks or where cracks are expected to occur during lifetime. The aim is to ensure the failure safety along with enabling a maximum of lifetime and minimizing inspection intervals. A typical use case is the application of a fracture machanics assessment in cases where a component with a sharp notch or with another type of defect cannot be safed by fatigue assessment. I also serve as a Principal Reviewer for Welding in the World (WitW) in the field of structural integrity.
