From 2020 on, I built a new domain within Data Science Supply Chain to improve the supply chain and customer experience by means of various timing and cost prediction Machine Learning models. Projects excerpt: • Flagship project from ideation to production: Serving customer facing delivery time predictions for storefront via live inference ultra-low latency service at scale. Project was highlighted in various forums like tech all hands (CTO level) and Ops town hall (COO level), and resulted in various blog posts at Wayfair and Google. • Causal inference: Assess effect of delivery speed on conversion using experimental methods. • Deployed various models for areas such as: Carrier-related incidence costs, incidence prone products, ship cost forecasts, product positioning costs, carton dimensions, transit time estimates. • Marketing 2018-2020: Selected projects: Driving rollout of marketing channel attribution framework to EU to measure RoI effectiveness, incl lift studies; delivering a keyword bidding algorithm, and some email personalization. Each project above generating millions of dollars of annualized savings. Management activities: • Setting long term visions of 12-24 months and defining roadmaps of 6-9 months, representing team roadmap on executive level.
