Pristina, District of Pristina, Kosovo
My professional journey has been shaped by one central question: how is value created, experienced, and sustained across people, organizations, and markets? I began my studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prishtina, but war changed the course of my life. As a refugee in Austria, I had to start again, learn a new language, adapt to a new culture, and continue my education at the Technical University of Vienna. That experience of reinvention deeply shaped both my personal path and professional worldview. Vienna also became my first real school of customer experience. As a student, I sold classical music concert tickets on the streets, often dressed as Mozart or Strauss, engaging tourists from around the world and inviting them into Vienna’s cultural life. What seemed like simple street selling became a deep education in communication, emotional connection, positioning, and value proposition design. Over time, I progressed from salesperson to manager and later partner, building teams, developing sales models, and contributing to concert concepts that remain active today. After returning to Kosovo, I brought those lessons into entrepreneurship, branding, and business development. I founded an event organizing company, produced major entertainment events, worked with international DJs, and managed tours for national stars. I also created the MABELLE coffee shop concept, developing its value proposition around the historical journey of world coffeehouses and turning coffee into a richer cultural and customer experience. Alongside my entrepreneurial work, I spent around 20 years at Telecom of Kosovo, including as Marketing Manager, leading brand development, market strategy, customer-focused initiatives, and creative business concepts. I have also supported companies in brand development and concept creation, including TV formats in food and entertainment. Since 2010, I have lectured in marketing and related fields at AAB College, University of Staffordshire programmes in Prishtina, and currently at the Canadian Institute of Technology in Tirana. I hold an MBA from the University of Sheffield and a PhD from the University of Glasgow. My academic work led to the development of the SVISS framework and a typology of value creation. Today, I work at the intersection of marketing, branding, customer experience, service innovation, entrepreneurship, and value creation, combining strategic practice with academic research.
