With over two decades of professional experience, my role as Managing Director at Climeworks Deutschland GmbH encompasses leading our efforts in Carbon Removal in the German Market and developing projects globally leveraging my skills in front end development combined with financial and business analysis to drive strategic growth. • Setting up the first branch for Climeworks outside of Switzerland. As of 2023: >30 employees at the location. • Recruitment and development of an engineering team to handle the first direct air capture projects in Iceland. • Power to X project development in Germany, Norway and Netherlands.
• Buildup of the project development department for Climeworks AG. • Development of the first three DAC+S (Direct Air Capture and Storage) projects in the USA with subsequent funding awards from DOE. • Execution of energy, storage and land contracts for the second DAC project (TIC budget 200M$) in Iceland.
Establishing the first international office for Viking Heat Engines AS (Norway) Business Development, sales and project development in the Americas.
