During this 12-month period, I led a national committee of doctors and medical students, achieving the following: - Expanded BIMO’s national presence through a CPD-accredited conference and networking reception - Partnered with the GMC to tackle racism, promote diversity, and support IMGs - Collaborated with the Asian Cancer Support Group on diaspora-focused cancer research - Delivered 50+ UKMLA-aligned teaching sessions to medical students nationwide - Ran the National Mentorship Scheme, linking students with doctors - Co-led BISA’s CPD-accredited Basic Surgical Skills Programme - Secured sponsorship from national organisations including the GMC, MDU and Elsevier
1000+ hours of experience teaching and tutoring students from across the UK
