Dr. Göge is Chief Executive and Vice President Europe at Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 122,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services. In his role as Chief Executive Europe, Dr. Göge provides effective leadership, vision and strategy, ensuring the profitable growth and development of Lockheed Martin Corporation’s business across the region. As the senior LM ambassador in-region, he is also promoting the interests of the Corporation as a whole. From 2020 to 2024, Dr. Göge served as the Vice President Central and Eastern Europe at Lockheed Martin. Before joining Lockheed Martin, Dr. Göge served 17 years in positions of increasing responsibility at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the national aeronautics and space research center of the Federal Republic of Germany that employs approximately 11,000 people worldwide and is focused on research and development work in aeronautics, space, energy, transport, defense & security as well as digitalization. His last positions were the Executive Board Representative and Program Coordinator for Defense and Security as well as the Founding and Managing Director of the Institute for the Protection of Maritime Infrastructures. Dr. Göge started his career as a Research Scientist before he became Deputy Department Head, Head of a Research Group and Head of an International Testing Team at DLR. Before building-up successfully DLR’s “Defense and Security” business area, he joined the Science and Technology Organization (STO) at NATO as an Executive Officer. Dr. Göge holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a Diploma in Structural Mechanics and a Doctoral Degree in Aerospace Engineering, all from the University of Kassel, Germany. He also attended Business Executive Education courses at e.g. INSEAD (France and Singapore), Stanford University (United States of America), St. Gallen Business School (Switzerland) as well as NATO School Oberammergau (Germany) and is a certified Supervisory Board Member accredited by Deutsche Börse Group.
