I am a humanitarian medical doctor, researcher, and public health professional with experience in primary healthcare, emergency medical response, mental health, and humanitarian programming in conflict-affected settings. My work focuses on mental health, trauma, health equity, migrant health, LGBT health, and the wellbeing of marginalized communities. I have extensive experience in clinical management, emergency care, healthcare training, research, and program development, particularly among internally displaced populations and vulnerable groups. As a researcher, I am passionate about generating evidence to inform policies and interventions that improve health outcomes in underserved communities. My current research interests include post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS), resilience, social support, and the biopsychosocial determinants of mental health. Beyond healthcare, I am committed to social justice, human rights, and community empowerment. I believe that equitable access to quality healthcare and mental health services is fundamental to creating healthier and more resilient communities.
