I am a UK CCT-trained Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over a decade of experience across India, the UK, and the Middle East. My specialist interests include maternal medicine, high-risk pregnancy care, advanced labour ward management, complex obstetric surgery, adolescent gynaecology, and benign gynaecological surgery. I previously served as Consultant Obstetrician and Lead for Maternal Medicine and Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) at University Hospitals of Derby & Burton (UHDB), UK. In this role, I led the development of evidence-based pathways for medically complex pregnancies, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve maternal outcomes, patient safety, and clinical governance. My clinical expertise lies in the management of medical disorders in pregnancy, particularly diabetes, hypertension, hematological conditions, rheumatological disorders, and thrombosis. I am passionate about providing personalised, evidence-based care to women navigating complex pregnancies and helping them achieve the best possible outcomes for themselves and their babies. Having gained extensive international experience, I have recently returned to Mumbai to establish my practice in the Thane–Mulund region. As someone with strong roots in Maharashtra, this move represents both a professional and personal homecoming. I am excited to contribute to the region’s evolving healthcare landscape by bringing together international best practices, collaborative multidisciplinary care, and a patient-centred approach to women’s health. Alongside clinical practice, I remain actively involved in medical education, leadership, quality improvement, and the training of healthcare professionals. I am also expanding my expertise in fetal medicine through focused hands-on training in first-trimester screening, anomaly scans, fetal growth assessment, and Doppler studies, with the aim of providing comprehensive care throughout a woman’s pregnancy journey. I am committed to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based care while building strong partnerships with fellow healthcare professionals, hospitals, and healthcare organisations across Mumbai and beyond.
