The Global MBA is a perfect example of work integrated learning, which is about improving bottom line performance of our students' companies. As professors see ourselves as an external advisory board or executive coaches that walk together with with our students for the time they study - a fantastic experience.
As a Special Envoy, my role involves facilitating communication and cooperation between ASU and institutions abroad, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge and best practices. I am doing this within the framework of collaboration between ASU and IBR Institute of International Business Relations as the university’s innovation partner. It's a great way to showcase the strengths of German higher education and contribute to the global academic community.
Since its inception, IBR Institute of International Business Relations (Germany) has been at the forefront of reinventing and rethinking traditional academic education. Over 25 years, IBR has become a leader for innovation in designing and delivering work-integrated degree programmes at bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate levels, but also in creating the most customer oriented personalised service infrastructure. The Global MBA is IBRs flagship. In June 2019, the Global MBA was awarded for the second time in a row with the prestigious international Premium Seal Accreditation award of FIBAA (the Foundation of International Business Administration Accreditation). IBR is partner for innovation to multiple universities and business communities around the world. Together with our collaborating partners in Africa, America, Asia, and Europe, we reach out to the next generation. We deliberately also include those that are forgotten, underprivileged and disadvantaged in making our education affordable, accessible, and relevant for everyone.
In 2021, Trinity International University (Deerfield, IL, United States) tasked IBR Institute of International Business Relations to conduct the Global MBA for 150 students from all over the world as part of a pilot project in 2021. This project is limited till April 2026.
In 2008, the IBR Institute of International Business Relations became a Steinbeis Transfer Institute of Steinbeis University Berlin. Professor Dr. mult. Löhn, the President of the University at that time, aimed for IBR to export the highest quality executive management education worldwide. During its tenure at Steinbeis University Berlin, the IBR Global MBA has been honored twice with the prestigious Premium Seal Accreditation of FIBAA. IBR's students take pride in knowing that the IBR Global MBA is the top program at Steinbeis.
IBR Institute of International Business Relations offered its Global MBA to Kassel International Management School (KIMS), which is part of The University of Kassel today. The IBR Global MBA became the core of the globalization strategy of the school.
