I am a Senior Scientist specializing in molecular biology, protein engineering, and diagnostic assay development, with a focus on creating innovative tools for the early diagnosis of cancer and detection of infectious diseases. My research involves the design, engineering, and purification of novel proteins and the development of translational assays that connect fundamental science with real-world healthcare solutions. With over a decade of international experience, I have led and contributed to cross-functional R&D projects from concept to validation, combining scientific rigor, project management, and translational impact. My expertise spans molecular cloning, assay optimization, protein characterization, and diagnostic innovation, driven by a commitment to improve accessibility and precision in global health. Beyond my scientific career, I am deeply engaged in advocacy for women in science, Afghan diaspora empowerment, and the humanization of refugee stories through education, dialogue, and storytelling. I work to amplify the voices of displaced and marginalized scientists, helping them reconnect with their identities, regain confidence, and contribute meaningfully to global knowledge. As a motivational and intercultural trainer and certified yoga instructor, I integrate science, empathy, and mindfulness to promote resilience, leadership, and well-being, especially among women and underrepresented communities. My journey from refugee to scientist continues to inspire my belief that science and compassion together can heal, connect, and empower communities across borders.
