Amanda is a law graduate with experience in the legal field, both as as a legal analyst and associate in the regulatory field. She is experienced in policy development, case management and advocacy. She is currently undertaking a PhD in Law. She has excellent organisational skills, highly dependable, intelligent and astute. She is both analytical and efficient in all the tasks and projects that she has undertaken.

• Manage and oversee the listing of the Criminal Division’s Trial, Plea and Appeal cases. • In consultation with the Manager – Criminal Listings/Registry and the Chief Judge, monitor listings practices and procedures with a view of continuous improvement to the efficiency of the listings area. • Analyse listing trends and influence future listing decisions. • Maintain and facilitate key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the Judiciary, legal profession and all external organisations, bodies and individuals who interface with the County Court to achieve local objectives. • Liaise with the Business Analyst to ensure the provision of accurate reports and statistics. • Oversee the work completed by junior staff. • Contribute expertise to County Court and Registry Action Plan projects.
Conducting research in relation to discrimination law with a particular focus on gender pay equity with a comparative component between Australia and United Kingdom law. Research includes the collection of qualitative data with the corporation of trade unions and their members in relation to equality laws pertaining to pay.
