Representing clients in domestic and international commercial arbitration with a focus on disputes in engineering, construction and post M&A; negotiating of out of court settlements; managing e-discovery and document production in arbitration; working with expert witnesses. Advising the clients’ senior management and board of directors on litigation strategy and risk; legal project management, negotiate and manage budgets. Team lead in complex multi jurisdictional disputes; mentor and train associates and senior associates.
Drafting and negotiating contracts, incl. complex project agreements, mainly in the maritime industry. Managing litigation and arbitration in numerous key jurisdictions (e.g. Germany, Switzerland, the US, England, France, India and the PRC). Claims Management and negotiating out of courts settlements. Advising senior management on contract and litigation risk. Negotiating rates and budgets with external legal advisors.
