I started my professional career in Eldor Corporation which is an international group leader in the automotive business. Two R&Ds in Italy, four active plants in the world (Italy, USA, Turkey, China and Brasil) and four opening technical Office in the Korea,China,Russia,and Germany. All of this contributes to make Eldor a leading company in research, development and production of ignition coils, engine control units and combustion management systems based on the analysis of ionic currents, as well as of electric systems for hybrid and electric applications. I served as a Purchasing team member of Indirect Materials,Packaging materials ,Manufacturing goods and Services. I also acted as representative of Purchaser in the global projects jointly led with R&D,Automation and Engineering Teams. I had my first abroad experience while i was studying at University (Bachelor) in USA.It was a student job in Bluefin which is the biggest resort in North America.It was a great experience for my life and personal development.I had stayed a year with other students who has different cultures people from all over the world. I grew up in Turkey, studied in Izmir and lived in Izmir. I am fluent in Turkish, English, and limited competence in German. My role in Purchasing Department is leading my team for the below mentioned tasks; ‑ Creating and managing yearly purchasing budget according to the sales forecast and supplier payments ‑Creating supply and purchasing strategy in line with company targets together with the team. ‑Following local and global market dynamics and commodity market and giving information to top management. ‑Sourcing and business development with new suppliers, analyzing their capability and capacity. ‑Making global purchasing contracts for USA, China and Brazil plants. Acting as central purchasing department some critical projects. ‑Supplier development and sustainability management ‑Leading the procurement team in the Purchasing department to ensure operational targets and improvement of operational process. ‑Define and following department KPI’s. ‑Responsible of Direct Materials (Aluminum, Serial Machining Parts, and Packaging), all indirect materials and services for 5 different production plants+ manage all waste sales ‑Working with other plants purchaser (USA, China, Brazil an Italy) to find best prices for company beneficiary. Achievements at Eldor. ‑ 400 active suppliers with various materials and services ‑Create alternative sources for all single key material groups. ‑Significant cost down projects and increasing waste sales income. ‑Localization projects with cost saving ‐Improve purchasing flows, keep the team dynamic and efficient. ‑Projects of Purchasing Digitalization
-Responsible of all local&foreign purchasing activities the 4 team members ‑Managing local&foreign suppliers payment terms, prices and incoterms. ‑Analyses and prepares all suppliers’ agreements. ‑Sourcing alternative materials by visiting exhibitions.
