Dovi Frances is the Founding Partner of Group 11, a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm ranked #1 among US VC fund managers by Preqin. The firm has deployed over $700 million backing Israeli-founded technology companies from inception to global scale. His portfolio includes seven unicorns — among them Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN), Next Insurance (acquired by Munich Re for $2.6 billion), Tipalti, Sunbit, Dream Security, and Masterschool. He serves as advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel on artificial intelligence and co-founded The Institute, Israel's national AI advancement center, in partnership with Ben-Gurion University, Nvidia, and Microsoft. He sits on the Board of Governors of Ben-Gurion University — its youngest member ever elected. Born in Holon and a former IDF company commander, Dovi holds a dual degree from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. He is the bestselling author of Introduction to Victory. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Roni and their three children.
