-Establish and Lead the Control Tower: Build and manage a new Logistics Control Tower Department from scratch. -Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and lead a dedicated team to manage the Logistics Control Tower, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. -Implements best practices and standardized procedures across the Control Tower function. -Handle queries and operational orders between offices, agents and clients. -Handle shipping quotes and maintain freight rate management and negotiation. -Ensure shipping processes are being adhered to and ensure systems are kept up to date. -Creation of shipment orders. -Handle and monitor the invoicing of shipments. -Develop and maintain good relationships with agents to increase revenues globally.
