Doug Waller is co-founder of The Retail Navigator, advising early-stage CPG brands on scaling in brick-and-mortar. With 20 years across sales, strategy, insights, and operations, he partners with founders and investors on retail roadmaps, price pack architecture, and launch strategy. He is also an angel investor and retail operating partner to venture capital firms. Prior to launching The Retail Navigator, Doug served as Vice President of Retail at Harry’s, where he led the cross-functional retail team across Harry’s and Flamingo, overseeing a $500M+ retail business and driving omni-channel growth across the United States and Canada. Doug has held multiple leadership roles across the CPG ecosystem, including as Chief Revenue Officer at retail tech startup InContext Solutions and in senior sales strategy roles at Coca-Cola, where he led Walmart/Sam’s team strategy, capabilities and insights. He began his CPG career at Procter & Gamble, spending 8 years in shopper and consumer insights roles. Before transitioning into the private sector, Doug served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy, deploying twice to the Middle East on USS COMSTOCK (LSD 45) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.A. from the University of Maryland.
