As a director, playwright, and educator with over three decades of experience at the intersection of theater and civic engagement, I bring a unique artistic vision grounded in equity, innovation, and storytelling that resonates. From directing critically acclaimed productions across institutions like Deaf West Theatre and UN Women’s Council LA, to crafting award-winning civic partnerships through CSUN’s community initiatives, my work is driven by a commitment to amplify underrepresented voices and provoke meaningful dialogue. My leadership at Teenage Drama Workshop and CSUN’s Neighborhood Partners in Action demonstrates a deep belief in theatre’s potential to transform—not only through compelling performance, but through the spaces it opens in education, justice, and community health. As a playwright, my original work *Not Here* has been featured at State Attorneys General summits, and *Shim Ch’ong* debuted at the Kennedy Center and abroad, combining poetic form with cultural depth. I welcome the opportunity to bring this multidisciplinary approach to other programs and institutions, aligning my artistic leadership with your mission of bold programming and inclusive creative collaboration.
