Objective AVIATION To obtain a position in the aviation field in Ground Support/Refueling or A&P Mechanic with opportunity for training and advancement. Aerospace Maintenance Maintenance and support for C-5A, C-130, C-130J aircraft: Launch, recover, refuel service, and perform preflight, through flight, post flight, and special inspections as well as phase A, B, checks for wartime contingency, and training missions. Troubleshoot malfunctions and remove and install aircraft components and equipment. Inspect aircraft structures, systems, components, determine corrective action, check components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation and operation using type aircraft maintenance manuals and publications. Responsible for data collection system input, aircraft forms management and supply documentation. Order parts for aircraft using proper IPB manuals. Operate APUs and aircraft systems on the ground for maintenance checks. Assist aircraft flight engineers and air crew when on trips with aircraft, and on ground engine maintenance runs. Supervise entire fueling operation. Perform general corrosion inspections, brake rider duties on aircraft tows; U.S. Navy aircraft power plant maintenance tech training. Assist on engine change crew on change engines QEC packages. Assist on C-130 prop changes. Perform phase A, B, and 7 day, 28 day, 56 day, and daily inspection on Navy C-130 aircraft. U.S. Air Force activated for 9/11 attacks for operation Enduring Freedom/Noble Eagle. Handle all types of military aircraft on transit alert line: Ground handling and servicing military aircraft for missions and airshows. Refueling, servicing, towing, and repairs: Types of aircraft serviced: C-130, C5A, F-14, F-18, P-3 Orion, Sea Hawk, Sikorsky SH3 Sea King, CH53E Super Sea Stallion, CH46 Sea Knight Helicopter, B727, B737, B747, B757, B767, A320 Airbus, DC10, and MD11 Specialties: FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic,Aircraft systems quailified,Auxilary Powerplant APU Operator qualified,Wing walker,brake rider qualified, Aircraft refueler airline and military aircraft qualified,Qualified on Ground handling and Ground operations ,servicing , and line maintenance of all types of aircraft and helicopters.
