I'm teaching public relations courses in writing, research and strategy at LSU in Baton Rouge, sharing lessons learned from my 37 years of experience in PR and marketing roles. In my spare time, I continue to work on writing fiction, with my first novel "Mad Dad, Fun Dad" being published August 14.
Developed PR campaigns to promote the services of more than 1,500 Novant Health physicians. Published two e-newsletters each week to equip physicians and staff members with information to help them provide quality medical care and grow their practices.
Managed communications for more than 15,000 employees in 35 countries. Wrote and published daily content for the SPX Employee News Center (intranet site) that included articles translated into nine languages.
Managed communications and recognition programs for more than 25,000 employees. Provided speech writing, event planning and other communication support to the executive leadership team. Conducted public relations campaigns.
