Doug Draper is a veteran journalist and communications specialist. Here received a Masters Degree in Journalism at the University of Western Ontario in 1979 and went on to work as a reporter for The St. Catharines Standard newspaper in Niagara Ontario, winning provincial, national and international recognition for his work, especially in the environment writing field. Doug Draper is now publishing a well-received online news site called Niagara At Large and over the past two decades also wrote for numerous other publications, including The Hamilton Spectator, Buffalo News and other news venues. Doug Draper has also produced communications pieces for other organizations, including Niagara Region and Great Lakes United, an organization that represented a large coalition of public interest groups on the Canada and U.S. side of the Great Lakes.
