    A creative studio, specialized in photography, styling and visual identity, founded by Dorothee Dubois Creating images for books and magazines, starting and established brands, and creative entrepreneurs. Working closely together with my clients to create something beautiful and valuable, with a recognizable minimal yet evocative style. Starting with defining a concept, creating an atmosphere and appropriate styling, and translate it into expressive captures. Every project is approached in a fresh and bright way. Educated as an architect, I am dedicated to pure and well-balanced compositions, using the beauty of natural light. Focussing on food and product photography, lifestyle and portrait shoots, interior and architectural photography. The Fresh Light studio is based in Antwerp, Belgium, a bright space filled with a lot of natural light. Looking forward to connect and start an exciting creative journey together.   • Founder, Architect at Rolies + Dubois architecten

    After having gained experience in Belgium and abroad, it’s time to start up an own office. Together with Stijn Rolies, I founded Rolies + Dubois architecten. Focussing on high-end residential design, we built up an extensive portfolio of refined interior and architectural projects.     Returning to Belgium, working as a freelance project architect for several architectural offices, upgrading my technical and practical experience, and getting familiar with public and cultural buildings, commercial projects and residential project development. Being responsible for all stages of architectural projects, from the design/competition proces, over urban regulations and building codes, technical specifications, to quality control on construction sites, including project coordination and customer relations.

    Moving to Zurich, after finishing my master in architecture, to work for international renowned architect Christian Kerez. Always being inspired by his particular approach and crystal-clear construction methods. Thoughtful use of materials and qualitative detailing, results in an irresistible poetry that characterizes Kerez’ buildings. Being part of his creating proces, with a small dedicated team, was a meaningful experience. Working on projects such as the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Holcim Headquarters, Swiss Re Headquarters, and taking care of the scenography of Christian Kerez’ exposition in de Singel in Antwerp in September 2008.

    Always looking for opportunities, being a passionated and curious student in architecture. During a study trip in Switzerland, I could connect with architect Beat Consoni, who invited me for an internship in Sankt Gallen during summer. Honored to get involved in the design proces of his finely balanced solitaire concrete buildings, well known beyond the borders of Switzerland.
