In this newly created role, I'm aligning the supply chain activities of the Infra organisations of Wienerberger Piping Solutions in Belgium and Bad Schmiedeberg (DE). This contains the Steinzeug-Keramo group as well as Pipelife Belgium. My main responsibility is translating the sales budget of the different stakeholders into the production budget. Next step is to maintain this budget to facilitate the most efficient production plan. I'm leading and coaching a team which main tasks are streamling the supply chain process in SAP, purchasing traded goods, dispatch, transport optimisation and production planning. As key user PP, I'm staying on top of the latest developments to streamline production planning & reporting. Main focus will be capacity planning in production and logistic optimization.
As a logistics analyst, I'm looking for opportunities to streamline the current supply chain at our 2 production sites in Hasselt (BE) and Bad Schmiedeberg (DE). Currently, I focus on the part after production. This involves logistics flow, as well as IT solutions. As of 1st of January 2020, I added production planning for our 2 factories to my tasks. Since March 2020 I’m key user SAP PP for both plants and supporting the go-live since January 2021.
My job consists of 2 parts: 1. Inventory managment for the CRS and RCA division: - finding a match between the needs and expectations of the customers and the budget to decide which items to stock and which service level to provide. - Improvement projects for forecasting, planning, daily opererations on the inbound side of the warehouse and the information flow to suppliers and customers - providing support for the Dynapac winter camapaign, mainly for maintenance of pavers in the off season 2. Global supply chain support for the ITBA division: (since 2014) - investigate the specifics of the supply chains towards local customer centers in and outside Europe as an input to the divisional strategy. This is a combination of telephone conferences and on-site visits. - implement the divisional strategy in these local customer centers with respect to their specific needs and local challenges (e.g. customs regulations) Besides these 2 main tasks, I do some projects on the side, e.g. in the area of customs, in which I match the operational needs with the IT possibilities and the budget to get to a better operational process.
