• Conducted research on endoplasmic reticulum stress in the bone marrow microenvironment of acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). • Developed and optimized experimental assays, including flow cytometry, multi-omic analyses (RNA-seq, proteomics and phospho-proteomics) and genetically modified primary cells, to identify alterations within the tumour microenvironment and model pathogenic mechanisms
• Conducted research on the genetics of familial and sporadic acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) • Developed in vitro and in vivo models to study genetic variants linked to familial AML using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing. • Executed large-scale multi-omic profiling of AML patient samples, identifying potential biomarkers for personalized treatment. • Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team, enhancing the understanding of AML and improving patient outcomes.
• Conducted a 9-month research project on Notch-1 signalling in cancer resistance to monoclonal antibody therapies • Established and validated a lentiviral reporters to monitor activity in response to therapies. • Awarded an Erasmus+ Traineeship scholarship for international research experience.
