Responsible for analysis of thoracic and cardiac surgery data reported to Society of Thoracic Surgeons, STS National Database. Data reported provides a comprehensive set of performance measures used to evaluate quality of patient care. surgery outcomes and hospital performance, impacting hospital licensing and Congressional financial appropriations to Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Additional interests include identifying innovative global research and strategic business developments transforming delivery of health care and shaping future health care initiatives.
Responsible for management of clinical trials data, corporate contracts, permits, licenses and regulatory reporting to federal, state, local and international government agencies. Participant on congressional-industry panel sponsored by Senator Fred Thompson (TN) to amend Orphan Drug patent exclusivity. Representative to Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MBC)
