Donna Govorko is the General Manager for SADD/Kaitiaki oAra (Students Against Dangerous Driving), a youth led peer-to-peer education programme empowering young people to be safer road users. Previously a Sergeant with the New Zealand Police as well as a secondary school teacher, Donna has long been focused on community and road safety. Her broad-based life experience also includes time as a personal trainer and with the RNZAF. She has taken the opportunity to lead SADD, because she is passionate about living in a safe community and has devoted her career to finding innovative ways to successfully build community engagement and commitment to safer communities.
