CEO and Technical Director of Studio Sound Service, my professional career is a continuous interweaving between science and music. Since 2010 I have been leading the company, convinced that the perfect interaction between acoustics and architecture can radically transform the sound experience. Being a physicist and contract professor at the University of Florence has shaped me in methodological rigor, but physics is also creativity: this combination of science and art is the soul of our corporate philosophy. Our "Made in Italy" approach synthesizes scientific precision with artistic sensitivity, technical rigor with creative intuition. At Studio Sound Service we transform spaces into sound experiences of excellence, through acoustic engineering that places art at the center of science and research at the service of emotion. The only Dolby Certified Service Partner (CSP) in Italy, we operate globally on the most innovative Dolby Atmos Music, Home Entertainment and Theatrical projects. Our activity is divided into two macro-areas: Audio Facilities Design: We create environments dedicated to critical listening and audiovisual production - recording studios, mastering rooms, cinema mixing theaters and Dolby Atmos rooms. Our interdisciplinary approach integrates acoustic design, interior design and lighting design. We collaborate with artists, producers and international majors such as Netflix, Disney, FOX, RAI, as well as multinationals like Iyuno and Dubbing Brothers, transforming creative requirements into high-performance acoustic realities. Architectural Acoustic Design: We integrate acoustics into complex architectural projects - theaters, concert halls, executive offices, high-end restaurants, healthcare facilities and luxury residential buildings. We guarantee acoustic comfort, speech intelligibility and full regulatory compliance, collaborating with architects and internationally prestigious engineering firms. We also design electroacoustic systems (Sound Reinforcement and EVAC) and environmental and building acoustics. Our team of engineers, architects and consultants solves complex acoustic challenges, combining scientific research and field experience. For over 40 years we have contributed to defining international sound standards, combining physics, architecture and music. Studio Sound Service is an engineering firm that deals exclusively with acoustics. Since 1983 we design spaces for music and audio/video production. We deal with every area of acoustics and electroacoustics, we handle music and cultural industry, constructions, offices and industrial fields. We are specialized in the design of environments for critical listening and optimized viewing, such as recording studios, mastering, audio/video post-production and dubbing; television and film studios; radios, movie theaters and residential home theaters. Our experience in musical acoustics has led us to collaborate with important architectural firms for the construction and restoration of theaters and auditoriums, religious buildings, live music venues, sports arenas and other large environments. Since 2021 we have been the only “Dolby Certified Service Partner” Italian company.
