Welcome to my page! I am a master student pursuing the Václav Havel Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in European Politics & Society at the Charles University in Prague, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and Leiden University. I recently finished my BSc in Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam after taking part in an Exchange Program at Seoul National University. Before studying Sociology, I spent a propaedeutic year studying Nutrition and Dietetics at the Hague University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I have been a delegate for the Outstanding NMUN Delegation of the Erasmus University and the Marketing and Diversity & Inclusion Officer of the Social Sciences Career Week. Next to this I work as a hospitality freelancer and I was a student ambassador for Sociology. Over the past few years, my varying experience has made me gain a lot of valuable skills, such as communication, flexibility and proactivity. I look forward to learning more about international relations and making a positive change for our world. My specific interests are migration and inequalities.
As a WilWeg Ambassador for Nuffic, I leverage my international background to lower the threshold for the next generation of Dutch students looking to gain academic experience abroad.
Reporter for the Forum 2000 Conference on Democratic Resilience. Reporting on panels regarding numerous topics including the future of relations with Russia, election processes, cohesion, the success of protests and the future of Sino-European research. Including speakers like Petr Pavel and Salome Zourabichvili.
Provided in-person workshops on the university campus focused on Sociology, and at high schools focused on helping students in their last years of high school make a study choice.
Ambassador for BSc Sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam. - Part of the UniBuddy system, where I answered questions through the university's website. - Represented Sociology during Open Days, including giving speeches, answering personal questions and giving Q7A sessions. - Shooted content for the website, folder, and social media channels.
Research assistant for the 3HOEK Onderzoek at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences. The research focuses on how parents divide their time and how they handle stressful situations.
