Moved to Queensland, without an established network. Built Gainpoint's partnerships and sales operation from baseline in a new city, identifying the market opportunity around the Olympics pipeline and R&D development, and creating traction through relationships alone. Set up partnerships with several affiliate groups, including the Bookkeepers' Network and RCL. What I didn't expect was how much that period would teach me about what my clients go through. Starting over in a new market, with real experience but no local credibility, is disorienting. I developed a clear strategy that delivered results, even after I left.
